Expedited Hiring Authority - Quality Assurance Specialist (1910) and Quality Assurance Engineers (0801)
The criteria for a highly qualified Quality Assurance Specialist and Quality Assurance Engineers may be meeting one or more of the following criteria relative to the position being filled.
- Types of Quality Assurance Experience (i.e., Electronics, Aircraft, Clothing, Automotive, Mechanical, Aerospace, Ammunition, Nuclear, Naval Propulsion)
- Ability to use metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices, an understanding of human factors and motivation, facility with quality cost concepts and techniques
- Knowledge and ability to develop and administer management information systems and to audit quality systems for deficiency identification and corrections
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance Contractual provisioning
- Quality Engineering Experience
- Ability to perform Quality Auditor analyzes on all elements of a quality system and judges its degree of adherence to the criteria of industrial management and quality evaluation and control systems
- Ability to analyzes and solves quality problems, prepare inspection plans and instructions, selects sampling plan applications • Ability to prepare procedures, train inspectors, perform audits, analyzes quality costs and other quality data, and applies fundamental statistical methods for process control
- American Society of Quality Control Certification or comparable certification
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management or Certified Supply Chain Professional
