Emergency Essential
EE positions offer a unique opportunity to support U.S. military forces engaged in combat or crisis situations. The positions are based at various DCMA Contract Management Offices throughout the continental United States. All positions require deployment overseas to support U.S. military forces engaged in combat or crisis situations, with current deployments focused in the U.S. Central Command area of operations. Please note all applicants should possess a DAWIA certification determined by position requirements.

Positions Available:
Currently, recruitment efforts are focusing on the following Series/Grades

  • Quality Assurance Specialist (Deployable )-  GS 1910-12 positions
  • Industrial Property Management Specialist (Deployable) -  GS 1103-12 positions
  • Contract Administrator (Deployable) - GS 1102-09, 11 and 12 positions

Employment Terms:
Applicants external to DCMA will be offered a 13-month Term Appointment, based on the needs of the agency, appointments may be extended for any period up to a total of 48 months without additional competition. Upon completion of EE commitment employees will be separated from DCMA.

Applicants internal to DCMA will be offered Temp Promotion or Temp Reassignment. Upon completion of the EE commitment, employees will have return rights to their obligated position previously held within DCMA.

  • Holiday Pay
  • Night Differential

Your salary will be set within the range specified and consideration may be given to your qualifications, education, experience, training, competencies, or other similar factors.  Current DCMA employees will be placed on temporary promotions or temporary reassignments upon entering this position
